Christ Follower, husband, father, photographer, creative artist, humanitarian, strategist, speaker, dreamer of the day, lover of all things creative, seeker of social justice, and world changer.
Why do I do what I do?
I have one goal…to change the world or die trying.
I believe that the Gospel of Christ alone has the power to bring true change and hope to a hurting world. I believe that the arts hold the power to communicate the Gospel in ways outside the parameters of language. I believe that beauty exists in every place, situation, or circumstance. The challenge lies in finding it and communicating it to those who may look right past it. One thing I am sure of is this: no matter who you are, where you live, what you do, what color your skin is, what language you speak, or how much money you make, you too are in search of hope. I communicate that hope, that beauty, that call to action that will indeed change the world in ways that generations have never thought possible.
As a professional, I am a humanitarian, and commercial photographer, or maybe visual storyteller suits better. I am also a freelance Creative Director. My aim is much higher than taking great photographs or producing excellent creative art. I want to bring true change to the world…change that will last far beyond my lifetime and locality.
Caleb the photographer.
Rooted in a professional and educational background of marketing and communications, Caleb’s photographic career began purely as an extension of his creative talents, a strategic mind, and an appreciation for great photography. Picking up the camera and shooting what his eye saw seemed natural, ultimately earning him the respect of other photographic artists and creative professionals. Growing rapidly in this natural talent, Caleb soon found himself shooting commercially, traveling the globe shooting for international aide organizations, large corporations, and private clients.
His “action and emotion” evoking photography has given Caleb international recognition, with his art being featured by many media outlets, organizations, and publications, including the Associated Press. His creative eye, in combination with an understanding of conceptual thinking at a strategic level, has earned him rapport with clients, whom praise Caleb’s photography as “the perfect photograph that seems to tell the entire story”.
As a continual student of photographic and creative arts, Caleb continues to sharpen his skills in pursuit of the next great capture.
